Plot:
The New England island community of Amity is terrorized by a monstrous great white shark. The local police chief, Brody, wants to shut down the beaches, but the town elders fear it will hurt Amity’s tourism-based economy. After several deaths, Brody, along with marine biologist Hooper, and crusty fisherman Quint sail out to sea to kill the shark.
