I was on Wikipedia just now and there is talk of a Jaws remake in 3D. Does anyone have any info on this.
Just watched Jaws : The Inside Story. Who was the original director before Spielberg.
Any info on the soon to be released BluRay and will said Inside Story been included.

I read a bit about the remake recently. There wasn't a lot of detail but there was talk of Tracy Morgan playing Hooper. I hope to God that's not true though.
Yes, I saw the interview with Tracey Morgan regarding this and he was quite cagey in his response which makes me think that it is possible. Turns my stomach. JAWS should be left alone in my opinion. We don't have to remake everything! A new idea would be nice. We shouldn't remake a whole lot of movies. Little movies that had minimal impact and few people saw- fine. Blockbusters that are flawless works of art- never.
As for the original director. No word. I know that John Hancock was fired from JAWS 2 (I'm sure that most of us do) but who the original director for JAWS was- I have no idea. He must be someone who is fairly highly regardes and/or successful otherwise why would they be so tight lipped about his name?
